What hosting services do you provide?
We have both NT and Unix servers for you to
choose from at equal cost. Standard services include 200
megs of disk storage, FrontPage Extensions, 20 mail boxes,
access to raw log files, monthly web site activity report,
CGI-Bin, Cold Fusion MX, ASP components, PHP, 2 ODBC
connections, etc. Additional services such as Oracle
DB, SQL DB, ODBC connections may be purchased.

Do you provide help in setting up my
web site?
Yes, after your account is created we will
e-mail you the login details you need to access your
server . You will also be assigned an account manager who
will assist you to establish your new web site or move it
from its current location.

Can you help with the development of
my web site?
Yes, we can create the entire the web site or
help develop things like forms, graphics, or database
connections. Existing customers should contact your
account manager for a quote. New customers should use our contact
us form to request a quote.

What type of network connection do
you have?
We utilize world-class data centers
featuring ultra fast
Internet connections to all major backbones,
infrastructure for non-stop operations, and 24 x 7
multi-facility technical support. Royal Web only uses the world ’s best Internet backbones such as
UUNET, Sprint, AT&T and Level 3. The state-of-the-art
Internet data center is engineered for high performance
and redundancy. Rich fiber connections to all major
carriers allow scalable bandwidth capacity from OC3 to
OC192.

Do I get any ODBC
connections?
Yes, all NT accounts include two ODBC connections
that you can manage using your control panel. Additional
ODBC connections may be purchased for an extra monthly
charge.

Do I get a control panel?
A control panel is offered for domains hosted on our NT
servers. The control can be used for ftp password changes,
ODBC connections, FrontPage extensions, accessing on-line
technical support, etc. Your control panel can be accessed
from https://cp.webminders.com/ or http://www.yourdomain.com/controlpanel
from older accounts that have not been migrated to our new
NT control panel. Domains hosted on UNIX servers do not
get access to a control panel.

How
do I access my e-mail?
Refer to the account details e-mail sent to you
when your account was established. You can access your
e-mail using your browser from http://webmail.yourdomain.com.
You can administer your email accounts using your browser from http://webadmin.yourdomain.com.
Login using your full e-mail address and password. Use the admin@yourdomain.com account and assigned password to perform administration.

How much does it cost
for a domain name?
We currently charge $15 per year
to register a domain name. We also have a FREE domain name
special to include the cost of registering a domain in new
web site hosting packages. If you register your domain
name elsewhere than you are subject to their registration
and renewal fees.

Who do I pay to renew
my domain name?
You must pay the registrar that
you used to create the domain name. If we registered the
domain for you then we will send you a bill for a
renewal or renew it for free because you host your site on
our servers. It is very important that you renew your
domain in a timely manner to maintain ownership of your
domain name.

Can I register a
domain name and not use it?
You can register a domain name
and park it for your future use. You can just use the
domain for e-mail purposes and create a web site at a
later date.

I think I got a domain
name renewal bill, never paid it, and now my web site is
gone. Where did it go?
Your web site is still on our
servers but nobody will be able to see it using your
domain name until approximately 48 hours after you renew
it. Contact your registrar, the place your registered your
domain name, and renew it ASAP. If your domain name is
unavailable call your registrar to verify its status and
try to renew it on the phone. As a last resort you may
have to consider a new domain name and inform your account
manager of your decision.

How often will I get a
bill?
We bill on a monthly, quarterly,
or yearly basis depending upon our customers preferences.

Can I pay using a
credit card or check?
The preferred method of payment
is automatic billing using a credit card, debit card, or
checking account via PayPal. We also accept checks and
money orders. Customers who pay using a check or money
order are sent an invoice in the mail. Those paying using
PayPal are sent e-mail notifications of payments directly
from PayPal.

Why did I get this
domain name renewal bill from another company?
You will receive a domain
renewal bill from the company that you used to register
your domain. This company is called your registrar. You
must renew your domain on a yearly basis to maintain
ownership of your domain. Many registrars offer the
opportunity to register a domain for multiple years. You
could transfer your domain to us to receive a single bill
from one company. See your account manager for transfer
details.

Who can I talk to
regarding my bill?
Please direct all your billing
questions to your account manager. If your account manager
is unavailable send an e-mail using our support
form and your question will be answered by our billing
department.

How do I close my account?
You must inform your account manager in writing or
use our contact us
form to request an account closure. Even if you already started hosting your
web site elsewhere you must inform Royal Web in writing to close your account and avoid
additional hosting charges. Unfortunately we do not get notified of a change in your hosting
status unless you notify us and therefore we will continue to provide hosting and maintenance to your
account until we get your notice.
